I would choose grades over popularity because populars will change their personality just to be popular but really just be yourself and grades will determine your future if its good or bad so thats what I think. <3Popularity No!

Balance, in all things. If you get an A on a project, good for you! But if you get an A on a project you spent every spare moment of the month working on, put down the lab sheet and step away! Alternatively, if you fail the project because you spent the past month partying with friends and did your project at the last minute, put the cell phone away and tell your friend you have to work on the project. Each option can be equally bad. For instance, the smartest man on Earth lives on a horse farm in Kentucky. He is a certified genius, but has no influence or political power because he does not have the social skills nessecary to run a company or become president of the USA. Social skills are good too, but remember that you are the one who has to live with your choices.Grades by Far!
Grades are much more important. Will you not get accepted into college if your not popular? No way! Putting your grades first will get you father in life, because at the end of the day, it’s not about who has the best clothes, or the cutest boyfriend, or the juiciest gossip, it’s about who worked hard and got a good job and have a good life. I think it’s a lot more important to have good grades. It’s okay if your a good kind of popular, but grades will get you a lot farther then popularity will. I can guarantee you that! :)good grades

It’s different at my school: basically, if you like reading (me) or something else which is even remoteley relavent to school, you’re kind of a nerd/weirdo, if you try hard to get good grades, you’re a nerd, geek, a freak of nature, etc. and if you’re obsessed with grades, no one likes you. In terms of popularity I think it’s important to be the good kind of popular as in have friends and be well liked if it’s popular in terms who’s in charge in you’re school than you shouldn’t spend all you’re worrying up that. Popularity is different at every school.
