Running=Healthy!

I run to stay healthy! Today I tried out for my school’s annual 10K run (about 6 miles) and I made it!! YAY!! To try out I needed to do 3 miles in under 30 minutes and I did :)

Wii Fit

Wii fit with the balance board actually helps! If you don’t have a Wii, a wii remote, a numchuck or a balance board you can’t really do it. What’s cool about it, is you can play games but you have to do yoga, aerobics, balancing and games that include exercise. I like the running ones. I also like skiing a lot. It’s fun because it shows your “Wii Fitness Age” on a scale from a 1-100 year old. I got a 17 year old, which is good because I’m 10! It’s awesome and they say to go on it everyday and do it, I do because it helps build my endurance, but you have to have a Mii to do it.

Do you like yoga? That’s always an option. Tell your mom to buy you an easy but still exercising yoga video and a yoga mat and practice or if you don’t have a DVD or VCR player, try buying a yoga mat and trying your own moves. Hope this helps!

Trying....

I try my best to eat healthy, but I always end up eating ice cream or some other unhealthy food. I get tempted really easily! Does anyone have any tips on how to be more healthy? I would really appreciate them! I also do a LOT of dancing. I dance almost every single day for about 15-45 minutes. I <3 dancing! I really don’t like to go outside that much, because it’s so HOT right now, and I get bored easily. I sometimes ride my bike though, if it’s not too hot! :)

Eating Healthy!

If you’re constantly eating junk food, start small, and work you’re way up! First, limit your self to MAXIMUM one treat a day for one week (7 treats), than one treat every second day for the second week (4 treats), every three days for the third week (2 treats), and every 4 day for the fourth week, and from then on just on special occasions like your friends birthday or after you ace that math test! I hope this helps! Let me know if you don’t get it!

Thank You Soooo Much!

Thank you so much! I appreciate your help. I will deffinately try this! Now, do you have any tips on excersicing? That’s really bothering me because I am overwieght, (I hate to say it, but I am…) and I really need to lose some wieght. But I want to lose it safely, because I don’t want to have health problems. I dance for like a half an hour almost everyday, but you need at least an hour each day. I get bored really easily… so I need some really fun ideas. I have a bike, scooter, and a basket ball hoop. Please help!:)

Activities

I do many activities. I do swimming, gymnastics, and cheer, but I also run on the track near my house, ride my bike alot, and ride my horse. Gymnastics is the main thing that keeps me healthy, because I do it all year round for ten hours a week. Swimming is also good because I do it every morning at six for an hour, and that keeps me really healthy.

I play volleyball for my

I play volleyball for my school team. The thing I love about volleyball is that it’s about a team, not an individual. That’s why my coach says that he won’t let us get our names printed on our jerseys. I also take jazz dance, and I’ve gotten more muscular and flexible from that. I swim as well, which is good for my legs. I always try to eat healthy and eat one dessert every month. I used to be really picky about food, but now I’ve started trying new things and not only eating pasta.

Most people think of staying healthy as a drag, but it doesn’t have to be! Find a way to make staying healthy fun! Race your friend around the block, make a crazy routine to your favorite song! Next time you think of staying healthy don’t think of it as a drag, think positive, because with fun ideas, comes a fun life!

I try to eat as healthy as I can…. uh sometimes (Hey, I am GAGA for ice-cream. Really, who could blame me?) A lot of times after school I get with my friends and have bike, skooter, or running races. I also take dance and play on softball and basketball teams.

Healthy+Food

I sometimes go on websites that have great healthy foods.Mostly i cook them with my mom to see how they would turn out. Other times when my mom isn’t home i make little simple healthy treats for the family. Its fun being healthy and active. SO DONT BE A COUCH POTATO!!!

ANYTHING!!!

I do a lot! I eat healthy! like I love salads so I eat those and at school when i’m buying my lunch they have a smart lunch(lunch line for healthy food) and a salad bar and just the food bar with lowfat food! and i’m also in running club! i run all the time! and it keeps me healthy and exercised!

Sports!!

I do sports to stay healthy! I love Taekwondo a.k.a karate! I also do Basketball! Basketball is a team sport of course…but I like working with a team sometimes. Karate is an individual sport so it’s a lot of fun…because you don’t depend on someone else to pass it or shoot it. I also just like going outside and running around, because it’s fun and energizing! I’m sad that it’s too cold right now to really go outside for long :(

well im in lots of sports i wake up every day at 5:30 i go to dance then i go to school then after school i have soccer then vollyball and then i go home have one hour for school work then I have to eat dinner fast because i have 20 min. then I have to go to swiming and then I have to go to cheerleading then come home and go to bed between these in the car i eat fruits and veggies and when i do put junk into my body I where it off quick i have hardly any time for a socail life exept on weekends are not as busy i get to sleep in and do lots of practicing for my programs and go to cheerleading for a bit. well that is how I stay fit and healthy and i have no time well please comment got to go do my homework now bye!

how i stay healthy

what i normally do to stay healthy is i do some fun things outside! i love to bounce on my trampoline, ride my bike, rollerskate (although im afraid to try it out on the streets because im not very good at it!) and running around with my dogs. since im not very good, or i like sports, i do those things instead!

Sports and Good Food Choices

I stay healthy by doing sports and eating healthy. For example, I play soccer, tennis (might even go on a tennis team), and basketball. And at those sports I drink WATER, not some fake energy drink that’s full of sugar and has no nutritional value. Also, at recess and lunch, INSTEAD of sitting under a tree and gossiping (like some girls in my class), I am either playing soccer or basketball the entire time with my friends. And after that I have a healthy lunch. INSTEAD of the fake meat in lunchables, I have a turkey sandwich with NO cheese, NO mayo or anything like that. I also have a WATER BOTTLE, not Capri Suns or Kool Aide because they are full of sugar and sometimes even high fructose corn syrup which is awful for you. I always have at least 1 piece of fruit in my lunch box. And instead of chips and cookies, I have 100 calorie packs of crackers and 100 calorie packs of cookies which have only like, 3 grams of fat in them instead of like 10 grams. So my lunch isn’t a perfect lunch, but between all my sports, I burn extra fat and calories. Think about it, all those sports are twice a week if not more. And on the weekends, I do sit-ups and yoga moves to strengthen my body.

p.e.

In p.e. we have to do a ton of stuff so Im healthy from that. we have to run like 42 laps around the gym and do 300 push ups and cruches so p.e. keeps me healthy!

healthy

i recently was picked to be on a travel team for field hockey. only 10 girls were allowed on the team and there were about 50 trying out. field hockey is my number one sport, and ive been playing for 4 years. i do training programs 3 days a week, and i travel to another state every 3 sundays for the field hockey tournaments. its always good to master a sport and im proud of myself for making the travel team. it keeps me healthy too :)

I’m on a competitive cheer team, and I want to stretch more so I won’t pull a muscle again while doing round offs, because I already pulled a muscle in my right lower leg. It hurt! Anyway, I want to stretch more so I won’t hurt myself more and eat more healthy food and drink a lot of water.

I keep my body and mind healthy in alot of ways like playing sports and instruments. Ways i keep my mind healthy are playing saxophone and piano studying hard doing my best on homework and projects letting the small stuff go so i don’t get stressed Body i play fastpitch softball i pitch 3 days a week i do speed training 3 days a week i go in the weight room 3 days a week i try my hardest to eat healthy food

Dance 24/7

I dance so much it seems like my dance studio is like my 2nd home! I am there everyday of the week except for Mondays ans Saturdays! It is my passion! I take ballet,tap,jazz,hiphop,lyrical,pointe, i am an assistant teacher, and i’m on my studio’s competition tea. Not to mention dancing at home whenever i have the time :)

I do many things to stay healthy. I eat salad at least one day and lots of fruit. I used to do wii fit, but me and my bff created an excersise routine. We do it every other day. I’m also a dancer. Physical activities also help.

salad isn’t healthy when you drown it in Ranch or Caesar Dressing and all that junk. Plus, iceberg lettuce has barely any nutritional value. Its 90% water. Just a little heads up. But way to go on trying to be healthy!

I dont eat iceberg lettuce or fattening dresses….I eat romaine lettuce and a few drops (and i do mean drops) of italian dressing! My dad is a nutritionist so i know lots about a healthy diet.
