Tip #1: We Want Details, Details, Details!

Read the questions carefully, then explain your answers in detail. For example, if your dream is to become a pediatrician, tell us why. You play five sports? What have you learned about yourself from playing each one? Are there days when you feel discouraged...or inspired? Your responses help us to get to know the real you, so don't be shy!

Tip #2: Put Time & Thought Into It!

Don't feel like you have to fill out the questionnaire online right this second. Give yourself some time to think about the questions, and write your answers out on a separate piece of paper first. Don't be afraid to let your personality shine through in your answers—remember, we want to really get to know you! When you're happy with your answers, go to DiscoveryGirls.com/dgstar and submit them. As long as you hit "send" before the deadline, you're good to go!

Tip #3: Photos Are a Must!

Remember to submit three recent photos of yourself! Without a photo, we can't consider you to be a Discovery Girl, no matter how well you've answered the questions! You can also send us photos of projects or crafts you've made if you want—we'd love to see them. We want to know as much about you, your interests, and your hobbies as possible! There's even a place on the questionnaire where you can share links to things like online videos or your blog or web site. Those things are all optional—but we MUST have three photos of you!

Tip #4: Don't Forget the E-mail Addresses!

In order for us to contact you if you're chosen as a Discovery Girl, we must have correct e-mail addresses for both you and your parents! Make sure you type them correctly on the questionnaire form. After you've sent your questionnaire, be sure to check your inbox often—you don't want to miss a message from us!
