Inside a DG Photo Shoot!

Did you know that I have the best job…ever!? For each issue of Discovery Girls, I travel to a different state and spend two crazy, fun-filled days with twelve totally inspiring girls. October was packed with photo shoots. I went to Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois with DG staff members Alex and Ashley. That’s three different states, thirty-six Discovery Girls, tons of outfits…and a bazillion photos!
As the fashion editor, it’s my job to make sure that each Discovery Girl is ready for the camera. While our photographer clicks away, Ashley and I run around pinning clothes in place, switching accessories, and touching up hairstyles.
So what makes a great photo? It’s a lot more than cute clothes and perfect hair. The girls must look like they’re having loads of fun, even if they’re feeling tired after all that posing. Here’s where Ashley and I come in again. We’ll sing, dance, and do all sorts of super embarrassing things to make the girls in front of the lens laugh. And let’s just say that if Ashley and I tried out for American Idol, Simon would say that we’re awful, just awful…by far the worst two singers on the planet.
And, well, our dancing isn’t so great either. During our Ohio photo shoot, the Discovery Girls took pity on us…and taught us some new moves! We’ve been practicing, so watch out! By the time we get to your state, we might be such good dancers that we’ll need new ways to embarrass ourselves and make you laugh! (Got any ideas?)

I WAS ON THE COVER OF THE FEBUARY MARCH ISSUE!!!! it came out this mounth!(january!) I was so excited when I found out! I must say it is a little weird seeing my self on the cover! Alexis is on the cover with me and we were so excited when we saw it!!! If you get a chacne do it !!!! Its so much fun and you meet alot of new fun people!
