I know it gets you prepared,but I really don’t like summer work.My 6th grade math teacher gave me a twenty page math packet with twenty five problems on each page! I also had to do two bookreports for lang. and a bookmark.Sigh…It’s a nice private school though,so there more strict on work being done.
Summer homework is REALLY hard. A page in my summer math packet took me a week to finish because it is so darn hard! I also had to read a book make a bookmark fill out a bookreport sheet(wich I lost in the process. Thank goodness i found it!) And i have to do everything during summer. But last year was even harder! 50 questions on one book and a math packet so thick the staple didn’t hold! This school is tough but it IS a nice private school.
All i had was a book report and a 3 page math packet. But I like math so it was easy!!!!!!!!!!! OH, my grade in math is 98% out of 100%. O yea I’m good!!!!

I am sooo enjoying summer! Yeah i had one book of all that homework stuff! but I am sooo enjoying summer! yesterday I went to a football game and a week ago I was standing infront of the Niagara Falls! and at the hotels we stayed at, their were indoor pools! Oh yeah!!! It was the best !!!!!!!!! And My youth group is awesome! It is “The den”! We love it!!

How can u not like math? My math teacher, Mrs. McBride, is 2 cool 4 words!!! She is my fave teacher!!!!!! But luckily she never gives us math packets! PHEW!

I am happy that I had a good summer I did b-ball camp and had a dramma class. som summers are really busy for me and I litterly never see my friends sothis was a good summer with a perfect balance but I just had my shoping week witch is where for one week from 11:00 - 5:00 me and my friends go schol clothes shoping our moms give us each 20 dollars every days (mon-fri) but I’m going to miss summer!!!!!!!

Dont dread it! you dont need to! Think about it this way….
-You have a whole summer (about 2 months or so) and your summer homework will probaly only take about 1 or 2 days tops! (Maybe about a week if you take it slow!)
Get on it right away! If you do it about the second day of summer break then you dont have to worry about it and you can just enjoy your summer!
Dont wait until the last day to do it because then there will be a ton of stress!
Once again, it is best to do it at first and not half way through either because then you are through with it!
If you are stuggling there is no sense in wasting time telling yourself how stupid you are, remember this is homework trying to prepare you for the next grade. So instead of worrying ask a parent or older sibling or even search the web for information on that topic!
But then again, if you get the kind of homework that takes all summer you still dont have ti worry. Just work on it ten minutes each day and you’ll be set for school!
If you are going to a new shcool you shouldnt worry to much! If you are a nice person I am sure you will make tons of friends!! dont be shy when you get there and dont be afraid to speak up! Here are some tips for making friends and surving at a new school.

-Sign up for school clubs that suit your personality trait and maybe that will be easier to make new friends!
At lunch time bring an extra cookie to share with the the girl you are eatnig lunch with, that way shse will know that you are kind and not afraid to share.
Start up conversations with other people that yuo dont know very well too. Maybe they will be nice. Also there is bound to be another new girl so dont be afraid to talk to them! They probaly know just what your going through!
And make sure in class youdont talk when the teacher is talking, you do your homework on time, and participate in class! That way your teacher will know your really a great kid too! (but remember not to suck up so much that others think your a teachers pet!!)
i’m homeschooled and so is my neighbor so we do school together. in the summer we dont have to do much work but we have to do a review test of everything we did just to make sure it hasnt leaked out of our brains. we;re lucky becuase we get to go to school in our pjs and we never have “homework” but it sucks b/c we dont have gym and i hear thats a lot of fun (instead, we jump on the trampoline!)

I do a couple of courses by homeschooling, and it really works well, because I can take it anywhere-sometimes I take it to school and work on it there. I wish that I’d chosen to take math that way though because my teacher keeps on making the tests really weird-I’ll get 100% on all my homework and do well (like 95%) on quizzes, but my test marks this term are 86, 70, and 69. And I know the stuff! So now because our tests count for 75% of our grade, I’m going to get a bad mark…my lowest mark ever….and I’m GOOD at math!!!!!!
I shop till I drop! I was Miss Popular last year, and I will be again! So far, I still am! I buy clothes, makeup, notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, paper, jewelry!
I get A+’s on ALL my classes.
I LOVE to read so reading assignments don’t bother me at all.
Math comes SO easy to me.
I DON’T GET ANY HOMEWORK DURING THE SUMMER. I mean what kind of a teacher would even think of ruining a kids summer with HOMEWORK! YOU GUYS HAVE MEAN TEACHERS.
