My toughest friendship hardship was when I made the school play (High School Musical) as Gabriella, and my BFF only got the roll as a science club member. Because we looked alike, she asked me to change roles. I didn’t want to, but she was my BFF, and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings.
Even though she may be your best friend it doesn’t mean you have totrade parts. She wouldn’t be a true friend if she told you to give up your part. A true friend would be proud of you and congradulate you. Don’t let your feelings get hurt because you don’t want your friends to get hurt.
I know this is not common, but I PANIC!! I can’t help it. I’m just very panicy. Not to be braggy, but I am Miss Popular at my youth group. Everyone knows that I panic, so they pull pranks on me to try to get me to look bad. They are not true friends. I am popular for being nice and being good in class. NEVER thank that popular is about the looks and hair and clothes. If you do that, people will only try to stick with you to get the ‘Seal of Cool Approval.’ Just be nice and let anyone who wants to be in your group be in it! That’s how I got popular.
Dear DG,
When I get in a sticky situation, I get overwhelmed with guilt. I get hot, and I avoid contact with anyone, but still act as though I don’t care. But when I get home, I don’t eat, I don’t talk, and I usually get in a bad mood and end up crying in the middle of the night. What should I do?

It seems that I’m always the one stuck in the middle.
I talk to both friends, trying to get them back together again, but it never works. Each side expects me to be their best bud in the conflict. It usually turns out that it was a whole big mix-up, or that the fight cools off in a couple days.
i don’t think people should panic that much(though sometimes it is hard not to)u should tell a parent or a BFF cuz thats what i do and it all works out just fine!

how sticky are the situations? if its a potentialy ebarrassing mishap, i get creative cause i can think in pressure. but if its something bigger, i would go to friend or family for help.
sometimes it is embarassing to tell a parent, and that is okay unless it is an extremely important situation. i usually go to a trustworthy best friend for help and advice. they are always there for me, no matter what!
i agree that you should ask a family member or friend but if you get creative then who knows what you can do with your situation. next time you have a sticky situation always think of an “outside the box” way so you can always get threw it.
Life’s sticky situations can be hard especcialy when you’re best friend messes with your emotions or when a popular girl makes fun of your hair i think you should try to stop the bulling you’ll probaly have a situation like this when you’re adult. You’re second choice is a grown up.
