The greatest thing I love about christmas is everything. To my mom and dads cooking is always great. The presents i give and get are fantabulous , but the greatest part is that you get to share i with some special people or person you get to share it with someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love getting and giving gifts bcause it’s so exciting to open a gift, and find out what it is, and watching someone open your gift to se how the react!
I guess that everybody lives in a different area and it doesn’t matter where you live. Just because you don’t live in a place where it snows, doesn’t mean that you’re better than another person. Although it would be nice to have snow where i live, (I was the one who posted the comment that I’m replying to right now.) I know that I can visit a place with snow anytime (like Tahoe). It still would contribute to the “Christmas” feeling if there was snow, but that’s okay.

Hey guys! I need some advice… I moved away from Pennsylvania a little more than a year ago… And what I’ve found in my new home in the south is paradise! I really mean that… I love everything about it here! But, I do miss my friends and family back home… Another thing I miss about home is the AMAZING Christmases my family and I always used to have. We never went anywhere, (and I loved that!), we always had a REAL tree, and most of the time, we had a white Christmas… We always went to our church for Christmas Eve service, and when we awoke in the morning, there were presents under our tree… Last Christmas was exactly opposite…. It was, well, depressing! We went home, which was so much fun, but we spent Christmas at my Grandma’s home, and it just wasn’t the same Christmas I’d always known… You know? I felt like there was no place in the world where I really belonged, and that feeling was NOT a feeling I was used to. I wasn’t AT ALL comfortable in the south, and there was no place in PA that felt like home anymore since we’d sold our old house. I was so sad, and it really didn’t even feel like Christmas… I felt bad because my family was miserable, as well… That made me even MORE sad… So, I guess what I’m asking is if anyone has to be put in an uncomfortable and unwelcoming spot over the holidays, how do you handle it? I just don’t want my family and friends to be sad over the holiday… I don’t really care if that means sacrificing my own feelings for someone else, because if that’s not important to me… I just want my family to be happy, and for once, at peace for the holidays. I can deal with my problems myself, but I can’t stand to see the people I love the most sad. I need some advice… As you can probably tell! : ) Thanks so much for any advice and encouragement. You guys are the best!
i havent had the lonely feeling yet. i just moved into a new house too. just pretend that u r in ur old house and make the best of the situation! be happy and ur holidays will b brighter and u’ll feel less depressed. i think thats the best advice i can giv u. i only hope i can follow it myself! haha

i’m sorry. white christmases are so pretty! i should know i live in alaska! yep alaska. i’ts just like any other city, big buildings, fast food. most people think nobodys in alaska, but there are tons of people! it starts to snow here at the begning of october, and dosen’t go away till may. you proble think thats cool, i mean you could play in the snow almost all year…. but it gets boring after a couple of weeks. but still i love looking at the trees when the sun hits them…ah so pretty. and i love going sleding! so fun!

The holidays are really special to me, since that’s the time when my whole family gets together. Usually, we’re all bustling to work, school, or extra activities. But during the holidays theres some special togetherness and family love in us. We have a great time. I can’t say no to giving and etting gifts since that’s special too, but gifts are on the outside. Family togetherness is in the inside.

I cant choose what I like BEST about the holidays, because they are my absolute favorite time of the year!! I love Christmas morning a lot because I just sit in the living room by the tree and close my eyes and breate in and smell the Christmas tree breakfast cooking everything I do this every Christmas and each year I think about how much I love this time of the year and i think abut the year behind me and how I spent it. I would ove being with my entire family for Christmas but that has never happened, and unfortunatly WILL never happen. But part of Christmas isto be thankful for what we DO have, not what we dont and that is all i have to say on this particular subject.
Oh, wow! I love ALL of these! But not the traditions. I don’t think we have any :-) The food my Mom makes totaly rocks! I love getting gifts, and seing peoples’ faces when they see what I got them. And I love seeing my Aunt and cousins. And, of coarse, their boyfriends (they’re in their 20s). Also my other family, but I don’t get to see my aunt and cousins that often, because they live 2 hrs away. But over all, I LOVE the holidays! Now, I have a poll for YOU:

Different subject! I live in central Texas, so we pretty much never get a white Christmas. But, I have seen a white Christmas- 5 times! 5 because I USED to live in Illinois, where it starts snowing in, like, November or October, around there. There was ONE white Christmas around here- last year, it was so cold, there were icicles hanging from my roof top! This year, the weather has been going back & forth… THAT’S ALL I HAVE FOR NOW! BYE-BYE!!!!!! =^..^=
