That kind of lie is okay I think. How you ever read the Sticky Situations Fab Girls book? It said that having a little white lie on your conscience is better than hurting your friends feelings over something small.
I understand you do not want your friend to get hurt but sometimes the truth has got to be told. She may get mad at you but will end up getting over it.

Everybody lies once in a while sometimes for the good of a friend sometimes not. It’s ok to lie about small things but not everything. Don’t go overboard. Some times you should tell your feelings about something and what you think because sharing your side of things makes a friendship.
I doubt 28% of girls have never lied to a friend, because everyone lies once and a while, and sometimes without even realizing it, even with the littlest things like how your feeling…I hate having to tell those little lies though, even as I do! One time, me and my BFF were at the mall and she bought this really ugly necklace and I told her I thought it was cool too, even though it was hideous! It was like an old rope with a spider on it, like some evil magic thing from Harry Potter! Eek!
I ttly agree w/ u! I hate to admit if but I’ve lied 2 my BFF more than I can count. I no lying is bad and all but like u sed sometimes without even realizing it u just giv the answer to her question that will spare her feelings.

Some people don’t even notice they lied to a BFF! I know some times I can’t stop myself and I just go with it. I can’t help it. Sometimes it is better to lie about stuff like what you were talking about other than hurt a friends feelings.
I understand that you want to make your friend Happy but sometimes you might have to tell the truth. Your friend may get mad but she will end up getting over it and will thank you one day for the honasty. Best friends do not really lie.

Yes I have. When my friend got a bob (it was very frizzy too!) I didn’t like it. But I told her “Wow! I like your hair cut! It’s a little frizzy on the right side though.” .
I was really surprised when I saw that 29% say no, they have never lied to a best friend. Does that mean they have never lied to their BFF in their whole entire life? Strange…
I lie all lot but not to be mean, just to save myself. But it’s really hard to not lie! I mean have you ever met a person that hasn’t? But I always regret my lies. You can never be so sure!
Ya once…we both had the same crush and he asked me out! Then we broke up an she started liking another guy and i secretly did too…but never told her because he liked me and I didn’t want to steel her other crush too!!!
