Near-Miss Kiss?
My best friend is a boy, and everyone at school thinks we secretly like each other One day I was at my locker getting my math book when I whirled around and found myself face-to-face with my best friend, our lips touching! We both backed up and cracked up laughing, but then I realized everybody else in the hall was staring at us! That definitely didn’t help stop the rumors!

if you are really good friends with him nobody should care because they would think you are dating him but you are not and just say you broke up.that should work.

I totally agree with both of you! You shouldn’t “break up” with him just so people won’t think you aren’t going out. If you did happen do that, though, You would probably have to avoid him and pretend you don’t like him as a friend. That would be really bad. So don’t do it!

I don’t have a friend that’s a boy but, it must feel bad that you have to put up with people that always think your best friend thats a boy , thats really your friend is your boy frined so I know what you mean. But what I say is that you should just ignore what they say and just think about what you think about yourself and not about what others think about you.

you shouldn’t care about what other people think of you. i had the same problem with my best friend. he’s a guy and everyone thinks we like each other. i told my friends i broke up with him, but then more rumors started about why we broke up and all that stuff, plus it made it akward to be around him. I don’t think you should tell people you were together and then broke up, it’s hard to keep up with lies and that would just follow you around.It doesn’t matter what they think, if you guys are friends and YOU know it was just an accident then that’s not really embarrassing, it’s just funny. Keep up with the truth that your not together, just friends, and be like “whatever” to people who tease you or whatnot. If it’s not akward between you two then it’s not something to worry about.

I dont think Lying is ever the answer to any of lifes problems. I have the same problem with my best friend, and people talk about us all the time, you just have to deal with it, I mean..whats more important what other people think of you, or your best friend?
