I feel so bad for you but i know how it feels !!!!!!

I feel really bad, but I know how it feels. I also dance, and sometimes…you just do what you have to do. I once did a street funk number…with my clogging shoes on!!!

Well I wouldn’t be that embarassed becasue i bet you a great dancer and even though you probably looked strange. People watched how you dance more than you outfit. But if your still embarassed just forget about it, I’m sure everyone else in the audience has. :)

as embarrassing as this is for you, other people might have thought you were really good! no one else knew that you had to be in your jazz clothes except you and your group. this was a funny story though! =]

that happened to me, i was in a play & i was the main person & i had 2 change in 2 minutes!! well, i was changing & they called me up, early!! i changed fast but….when i was out there i had 2 look like a street person & i did but……a part of the dress was in my underpants & when th other person can out he had to fix it & everyone was laughing b/c u could see my underpants!!!!

I dance and I know how fast you have to change. My dances were two dances apart boy did I rush!!

i dance, too, and i know how it feels when you have to rush! i would feel so terrible if that happened to me! but it’s not your fault! the dances were too close together! but trust me, everyone has forgotten!!!

one time, a girl in my dance class puked on stage, in the middle of the dance, and i slipped in it! i went flying, and another girl burst into tears because the whole performance was ruined, and another ran off stage! everyone was laughing! it was sooooooo bad!

I know exactly how you feel! My dance studio did a big show and they didnt pay attention to who was in each number when they were making up the order I ended up being in 6 numbers 1 right after each other! the worst part was all the music was on 1 CD so the music never stopped! each song went right into each other! I had to do ballet then jazz the musical theatre then ballet again then tap and it was chaos!! so short story short, I defintley know how you feel

omgsh. i’m a dancer too. (dancers rock!) so i can totally understand how you felt. but if that ever happens again. just smile even more and you’ll look back and laugh at it.

I used to do balet and when our group was doing our dance my friends skirt fell off and our teacher always told us if you drop anything like a scrunchie or somthing to keep on dancing but luckily it was at the end but she cried when she got of stage

I feel bad for you.When I read this it reminded me when I was dancing.I was in 2 dance routines and I had to changed so quickly I thougt I wouden’t make it.(But I did!).

well when i was in ballet i had to wear a liotart so i had to take off my under wear so when i was up on stage(it was a rehersal and EVERYONE WAS THERE) EXCEPED my parents i was on stage and my tights fell down so everyone saw my bare lower part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mortifing

There’s a slight possibility that the audience/judges didn’t really care or notice your wardrobe malfunction! They might have thought that you were supposed to be dressed like that! After all, it was a dance competition, not America’s Next Top Model! ♥Lexi, 11, Oregon

sorry but that is a little embarrassing but not really embarrassing

I do hula and at 1 of our shows our teacher didnt give us enough time 2 change so i didnt have enough time to ty my skirt good so i fastened it with a safety pin. We were about halfway done with the song and it started getting loose so i tried 2 titen it but then it came untied and the safety pin was 2 loose 2 hold it up. So i stoped 2 ty it and the safety pin broke so for the entire dance i had 2 hold up my skirt.

That is so embrassing. The parents must of thought it was great though.

i know how that feels because i dance and one time i went out to do my lyrical solo in my jazz funk costume…people were laughing at me

i go to a cosplay club where we dress like that picture. i try to mix as many costumes as possible. i don’t think you should be THAT embarrassed. i wouldn’t have been

You’ve got some major nerve girl! But maybe you shoulda made it look a part of the performance. Like, “When Ballerinas have to dance to Jazz!” But all in all, at least it’s done and over with! ;)

Don’t worry. They should understand.

And the Show goes on! Have you ever heard that phrase? It means when something goes wrong, you keep on going! You did the right thing by dancing in your tutu- even if it was for jazz. I am into acting, and one time- on a real performing night- the bow in the back of my dress came untied and the zipper was loosely zipped. I had to dance, and sing with the feeling that something was going to fall off. Luckily I was wearing a “body suit” or I would have been naked in front of a crowd of about 450 people! My sister in the play zipped it back up, and tied my bow while we acted- so I didn’t have to stand there in a tan little leotard. I congratulate you for keeping the flow of the show going!

OMG! thats happened to me before. I had to do ballet in a hip hop costume!

This is kinda embarrassing but I don’t think it would be horrible!
