The Prompts:

Short Story You wouldn’t think a Saturday could be so boring, but this was my town, after all—the dullest place on earth, I was at the mall with my mom, and we weren’t even buying anything. I was thinking that I just might go out of my mind if something didn’t happen, when all of a sudden, there was a loud noise in the middle of the mall. And so much light! What was that? I ran to get a better look… Imaginative Essay Yay—you’ve been elected president of your school, and you have the power to really do something. You get to make three new rules or make three major changes. Tell us what they are, and why you think they’ll make your school a better place.
