Deavon is a smart spunky girl who goes to her grandparents on vacation. When she meets a rich popular girl she lies to her by saying she is dating the hottest guy in school, is super popular, and really pretty. When she gets home after summer vacation and goes back to school there is a HUGE change. The girl (Lexi) she met that summer moved and is now going to her school. I totally suggest it…. but not to girls who hate boys! It is way girly.

i loved this book! i read it one night and ended up staying till past 11! i was really tired in the morning but it was ok cuz I LOVE THIS BOOK! i cried, i laughed, i urged her on. its a mix between romance, realistic fiction and humor. i do think it deserves its 10 and up label, though. i reccomend this to every girl that thinks books really dont relate to her! i felt like devon in so many ways! the author does a really good job of making devon, well, a real 13 year old girl. READ IT!

This book is so good i thought i could never fall asleep. I just wanted to keep reading on and on! Its a great way to express teens how much one little lie can become something really big. It theme is to basically translate who Devon Delaney really is. “You can lie, and get away with it. You can lie and get caught. You can lie and feel guilt, but in the end it all just adds up to who you really are” I suggest if you can get the time to go to a local library and go check out this book you’ll learn something. So what are you doing go ask your parents to get this book! Lol. (:

This is a very good book, if you’re looking for something to read I would suggest this. If you did enjoy this book, then I would try reading the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.
I love this book too!
I started reading this book at 7:00 at night. Yeah - Big mistake… because I couldn’t put it down! I stayed up until 3:30AM just trying to find out what happens at the end!
If you like this book - Then you’ll probably like ‘Shug’ too. I actually read Shug first… and on the back it said to try out this book. So, I did…. and it’s awesome! If you haven’t read it yet, then I would make sure you read it on a weekend when you have plenty of free time on your hands… because you won’t be able to put it down.
