Are you at all like Nancy Drew?
She’s much more of a perfectionist than I am. To prepare for the role I worked with someone who taught me how to shake someone’s hand and even eat food in the old, proper way.
What were the challenges of playing the character?
Having to remember to stand up straight on set—I always slouch! So I had to keep reminding myself to do that.
What do you admire about Nancy?
She’s really brave. I’m kind of afraid of a lot of stuff! I’m afraid of planes, flying, and elevators.
Do you think the movie has a message?
It’s okay to be different and to be yourself. You don’t have to change yourself to fit in somewhere new.
What do you love about summer?
I just love being able to do whatever you want, like hanging out at the beach all day long. I also love being inside the air-conditioned house and watching TV, too!
Did you have an embarrassing moment on the Nancy Drew set?
We were shooting at a real high school. All the kids were wearing shorts and belly shirts and I was wearing one of my pink, pleated "Nancy Drew" dresses. I heard kids laughing and I thought they were laughing at me—so I turned around and hit my head on a trailer door! Then people really were laughing at me for the rest of the day!

Nancy Drew means a lot to me...
The Nancy Drew movie looks really good. I love the Nancy Drew books (actually I collect them) and they’re really important to me because my mother gave them to me before she died when I was six. They are my most prized possesions.

I’m reading Nancy Drew books and I love them! I love Emma Robert’s show UNFABULOUS, her movies plus her personality. She is so encouraging,inspiring, funny and she seems so nice! I loved her reason to love being a girl! She said “We can constantly reinvent ourselves, and girls often become great women who can help change the word!” That’s so inspiring!

I totally agree! She is a great actor on UnFabulous and really played the role of Nancy Drew. And yes I agree that is quite an inspiring motto she has on being a girl. I think all girls should follow her footsteps.

Emma Roberts is like, my favorite actress and I just watched Nancy Drew today with my Dad and best friend and both of them said before he thought it would be boring but it was actually cool! I loved Unfabulous and Emma inspired me to play guitar and write my own songs and now my friend and I are starting a band now! Emma Roberts is just soooo cool!!!!

Emma Roberts is great. I learned that true friends come and go. She is a great singer. She helped get over my stage fright. Now I can perform in front of tons of people. She inspired me to choose between good friends and bad, and also helped me get over stage fright. It would be great to have her as a sister.

i just saw the movie recently!
i was so excited when the movie came out because i read the books and it was cool it turned into a movie! The best thing about it is that it starred Emma Roberts! She TOTALLY fit the character! I’m going to watch it over, over, and over again once i get it on dvd!

Even though I have only read a few of the actual Nancy Drew books I was so excited when I saw that there was to be a movie on Nancy Drew!!! So, I saw it with my dad and my best friend…..all three of us loved it!!! I would have to say that now Nancy Drew(the movie) is on my top 5 favorite movies…….It’s awesome!! if you don’t get a chance to see it in the theaters, make sure you rent it at Blockbusters or something like that!!! Believe me, you don’t want to miss it!!!! In the movie Emma Roberts acts so calm and collected but also mysterious and ready for adventure at any time or day. Make sure you see it…you’ll be happy you did!!!!

I saw the movie on Friday! It was SO SO SO good! I love reading the books and playing the games. I love supermysteries with the Hardy Boys so much! You’ve gotta see the movie. I have almost all of the Casefile ones and I love the classics.

I love all the Nancy Drew books and video games! I saw the movie the day it came out, and it was great! It must of been hard to keep Nancy all old-fashioned, but still a girl living in today’s world. Emma was a great Nancy Drew! She really seemed like, if there really was a Nancy Drew, she could of been her. I think Emma is a great role model and someone to look up to because she is not doing all those things a lot of other famous people are doing. I really want there to be a second Nancy Drew movie!
Perfect Role Model
I think Emma Roberts is an incredible actor and person as well. She teaches young girls like me that its OK not to be perfect, it’s OK to not be super-skinny and it’s OK to make goofy mistakes. She really makes me feel proud to be a normal human being, NOT a perfect robot!

Emma is such a good role model, and she picks to act in movies that have a meaning, or history behind them. Plus, she’s pretty and she loves everyone around her. Only, I think she’s a better actress then singer. I love Nancy Drew, I’ve been reading the books, and saw the movie twice.
Do you think Nancy can blend in real life?
I think Nancy wouldn’t blend in that much because there aren’t a lot of teens that go anywhere to solve a mystery.Nancy has kinda an old touch to her.She isn’t intrested in who likes her or her nails.She stays solid with her life and doesn’t get caught up in all the drama.

GREAT MOVIE
The movie was great. I give it a five star rating. The actors were just great for the parts they were given. If I could host a movie party on a dark scary night it would definetly be the nancy movie. every girl that likes a good mystery should see it. nothing is to scary in it. my friend camewith me to see the movie, after when we got back home we wanted to play spies. I liked the part when she realized how to open the box. The passageway in her house was really cool. Every girl on discovery girls should see this movie!!
