- All I wanted to do was sing and be in musicals and plays.
- I read Discovery Girls Magazine! Each issue I would look at the Discovery Girls of each state and learn about them. They were like role models to me even though I didn't know them.
- I absolutely loved to read. Some of my favorite books were The Giver by Lois Lowry and Holes by Louis Sachar.
- My favorite movie was The Princess Diaries.
Although many things have changed in the past five or six years, I have still kept some of my favorites from back then. I still love to watch some of my old favorite movies, reading is still one of my favorite things to do, and I have been in over 30 theater productions ranging from class plays to community theater shows with more than 100 kids. When I was your age, I had so many dreams of what I was going to do when I grew up and some of them have come true because I worked hard for them. My advice would be to never give up on what you love. If you really enjoy doing something, keep doing it. Everything you choose to do is a chance to learn something new.
