Q: I’m trying to grow my hair out, but it’s taking so long! How fast does my hair actually grow?
A: Don’t you wish you could just snap your fingers and instantly change the length of your hair? So do we! The bad news is that’s not an option, and growing hair out can take a long time, especially depending on how long you want your locks. On average, hair grows about half an inch each month, or around six inches total per year. This varies in every person, though, so yours could be faster or slower! Help speed up the process by getting a trim every 6-8 weeks to get rid of dead ends. We know it sounds like cutting your hair would only slow things down, but getting rid of dead, split ends will keep your hair healthy…and healthy hair grows quicker! We promise it will help pick up the pace!

I have long hair about as long as my avatars. My best friend has super straight hair and got tired of it so she got it a little shorter than shoulder length. She also gets it permrd every 2 months.hair!
My bff hair is short but not dat short so she wears weave n my sista n my godsista but my bff’s hair doesn’t need weave but braids always help ur hair grow mo so i get ‘em every 2 weeksomg

Don’t use your heating stuff as much. Flat iorns and curlers ect… stop your hair from growing. I only use flat iorn once a week. Then i give it a chance to be its natural self!Good Advice!
My hair grows super slow! Its proubly because I have a lot of split ends and I’ve never ever got a hair cut in my hole life! Theres no place near were I live that cuts my type of hair.Hair
My mom got a vid from the library that shows how to cut hair. Maybe you can too go to your local library and get a vid on how to cut your hair type. Hey, you get your hair a nice trim and save money for other things!! But you might want to get a dummie to practice on before she works on your hair! Tee-Heehair vitamins????
my friend took some vitamins for a few months that gave her calcium or something so that her hair grows a lot faster now AND thicker! (I can tell bcuz she gets highlights, so u can c when it grows out) do u no anything about this DG????I heard that...

my mom said that if you cut it hat it wil take a REALLY long time to grow back. ??????? i know DG is right cuz i used to cut my bangs [ i’m tying to grow them out] and they would grow back in about a day or so.I never would have thought

1) Straighten your hair! 2) Blow-dry your hair by keeping the brush close to your head, and then your hair will by flatter and straight! ( I know this because my hair is wavy and it becomes straight by doing this)hair

The longest hair I’ve had, was up to my shoulder, and it still is right now as I’m typing this! I want my hair to be a little longer because I want to try a new look. But now I see that hair takes time to grow, and you have to be patient. P.S. when are you coming to NY again? I’m 11 years old and I still have a goal to be in it when I’m 12 years old :)Thanks DG!
