Growing Up with Harry Potter
When Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone was released in the U.S., I was seven years old. Upon starting the series, I soon became fascinated and overwhelmed by the welcoming world of Harry Potter and all his life had to offer to a young reader such as myself. I was never one who sped through books or would read one book over the course of a day; especially with the Harry Potter series, I took my time and read the book as leisurely as I could. I would delve deep into certain aspects of the book so that I could really encompass myself into this Wizarding World of entrancing magic and spellbinding adventures.
The Harry Potter series has always been an escape and an extra world of wonder for me; for those of you who are also Harry Potter fans, I hope you have enjoyed the series as much as I have! I plan to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida some day and am looking forward to the last two movies coming out this November and in July of 2011! Here’s to Harry, Ron, and Hermione…my favorite trio in the charming world of literature and the true magic it can hold.

I love Harry Potter
I have to say this, because it did, but Harry Potter changed my life. Me and my best friend are absolutely obsessed with it. I started reading them in second grade, and I have always loved them. My best friend gave me a Hogwarts acceptance letter when I was 11, and I gave her one too. Last year we went trick-or treating as Voldemort and Harry Potter, and whenever someone would open the door to give us candy, we’d scream, AVADA KEDAVRA and run away. Some people pretended to die, and one old lady yelled, Protego! I started saying, “You kids shouldn’t be using Dark Magic like that outside of Hogwarts! I’m calling the Ministry of Magic! Kids these days …” Me and my best friend went to the midnight premiere of the last movie, and it was the best thing ever! We cried when Snape, Fred, Lupin, and Tonks died, and we did when we read the book too. We’re really excited because next weekend, our parents are taking us to the Harry Potter theme park. We’re also working on starting a Quittich for Muggles (actaully, we consider ourselves Squibs. We’re wannabe-wizards) team at our new high school. I ♥ Harry Potter!AWESOME!!:)

:) I red the whole series!! so aweome, jk rowling is a really good author!! really cool books. some people in my class think they r boring but one day i left one of the deathly hallows books ( harry potter 7), on the table and one of the girls who thought it was boring started reading the book! now she is a harry potter fan and is gonna buy a copy!! go harry potter! its not really scary, when someone good dies its sad but theres no blood in the killing, just a spell but its just sooo sad when someone good dies!!!!!!!!!! :(i <3 harry potter

I LOVE Harry Potter!!!! My nickname is Hermione922, I’ve read all the books and i’m reading the series again, and my friends and i even pretend to be the HP characters (I’m Hermione in the game). My friend says that when I turn 11 (February) she is going to give me a hogwarts letter. Lol. I even saw the letter on her bed, can’t wait to get it for my birthday!! I love Harry Potter. I am almost finished the second book. My bff has been trying to get me to read the books for years but I didn’t because I thought they were boring. Now that I have started reading them I know that they are most definitely not boring. I’m just wondering, have any of you seen the potter puppet pals videos on youtube?OMG

I LOVE the Harry Potters! I have read all of the books and seen all of the movies! The book are amazing and I have read them all about 5 times. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for the 7th and 8th films to come out!!!! They will be awesome! But I have say, i am a freak about it! I love it so much that I memorize scenes from the movies, I know the characters name in real life, I want to go to England, there’s more. Okay. I’m not a fan of the books because I’ve never read them. But I love the movies! And I’m commenting here because Kendra you rock! Finally someone like me! All my friends read big books and finish them in one day! They sometimes ask me why it takes forever for me to read one page. But it’s only because I get so into the books that I take time to imagine the scenes and I see myself in the characters I read about! It even took me about two months to read a book thinner than a centimeter! I can still read fast. I just enjoy taking my time. So I wanted to thank you Kendra for just writing that one part about how you like to take time to get into the book!Agreed
I totally agree with you cuz all my friends brag about how they can read books super fast but it took me three months to read the fourth Harry Potter book! Also, I love Harry Potter. I am on the Sixth book and it is so good. I think I’m going to read it right now….Favorites

I LOVE Harry Potter SO much I have read all the books and they inspired me cause when I was reading the sieres I was being bullied by some kids in my naighbore hood and I didn’t know what to do but I relized that I could make a diffrence I stood up for my self and my friends and she stopped bugging us since then so in a way they really helped me. and I am such a big fan I go to a Harry Potter camp so yeah xoxoxoxo Avatarfan12i am a harry potter fan too

I LOVE LOVE harry potter!!! I recently went to the wizarding world of harry potter in florida and it was a blast!!! make sure you go on all the rides there. The food at three broomsticks and butterbeer is amazing! I even got two wands!!! I read all the harry potter books too! I loved them all my whole family likes harry potter and me and my sis would watch the movies together all the time but now she has her own house :(yay 4 Harry!! :P
i read the 1st Harry Potter book in 2 days!! haha but the last few took bout a couple of weeks or so. oh well but i still love the series! my mom has every book! my fave character is probably… heck, i dunno! lol HOORAY 4 J.K. ROWLING!M
I’ve always loved harry potter. When I was 8 I got the box set (#s 1-5) for christmas. I couldnt put those books down! When I turned eleven I actually checked my mailbox for an acceptance letter… but of course, there was none. The books sort of grew with me and I read the 7th book in 2 days. Every year I re-read the books just to re-live the excitement and warmth they offer.Harry Potter series

I was seven when I read the first book and I understanded it perfectly! It was kind of scary though with the three headed dog though. so it is kind of even it might be a little scary for little kids but they can understand it! I do not know………Erm...

i love the harry potter seris. my mom told me i should read them and i didnt want to cause they were so BIG!!! but i saw the first one and it was not really big at all so i read it and was addicted!!! My BFF also is a huge HP fan and sometimes if were board we play this game going back and forth saying the names of as many HP characters we can think of. (there is a LOT!) if one of us says a character that was already named than the other person wins. We tried the same thing with Twilight but there wasnt much characters as HP therefore not as fun.my best friend.
